A bus ride from Central to Hong Kong Country Club takes an average of 13 minutes. The buses available include the Citybus Route 629 and Cityflyer among others. A taxi takes 34 minutes just like an Uber ride. Among the major companies that offer transport services between HKG and Ocean Park include Airport Express (MTR), Uber Hong Kong and Uber Red Taxi.

With effect from 11 Jan 2017, Citybus 629A and 629S services will be cancelled. Citybus 629 service will be changed into single bound service from Central Ferry Piers to Ocean Park, which will be available every day from 9:30am to 11:30am (5 Departures Daily). Bus service from Ocean Park to Admiralty West or Central will be terminated.

Travel Tips to Ocean Park Hong Kong

For an ultimate travel experience, there are basic things you should know about Ocean Park. The park is classified into two major parts i.e. The Summit and Waterfront. The Waterfront is located just next to the entrance while The Summit host seals and thrill rides but is a walking distance from the Waterfront. Below are some of the tips to help you maximize your time while at the park. 

• Buy tickets before arriving at the park. This can help you save a lot of hassles and time. If you’re traveling during the peak period, then you’re more likely to experience delays resulting from long queues. Travel early to avoid crowds. 

• If you’re traveling with kids aged 8 and above, then consider animal encounters. There are set age restrictions and other details for kids. Scene tours, snorkels and other exhibits need a guide. 

• The park is full during summer, particularly the month of August. Tourists from China mainland flock the park. If you’re traveling during this time, remember to carry an umbrella because there’s much shade in the park. Drinking water is in plenty

• Rent storage lockers situated at the entrance if need be. They are affordably priced and the cost varies depending on the time you rent. It saves the stress associated with carrying heavy luggage around the park. 
• For dining, there is Bayview restaurant. They have decently priced food.

Cable Car

Hong Kong Ocean Park is divided into a seaside paradise and a paradise park. There are ocean trains and mountain cable cars in the middle. The cable car is beautiful but slow, and people who save time choose the ocean train.

Editor’s suggestion: When you first enter the park, you can take the ocean Express first to avoid crowds. When you go back, take a ride on the cable car.

There are many facilities in Ocean Park. It is only necessary to have a day to play. It is recommended to prioritize.
